Fresh short created around 4,060-4,070 in Nifty futures

Market opened on a positive note, but shed off all its gains towards the close on account of rofit booking at higher levels coupled with fresh short created around 4,060-4,070 in Nifty futures. Volumes in Nifty futures were lower than the average trading volume. 5.4 lakh shares were added in open interest with a decrease in the cost of carry, indicating short built up.
