Nifty opened on a positive note, continued making higher highs and higher lows and finally closed with a gain of 90 points on a daily basis. Currently, the markets are poised at a very crucial point, as the Sensex on the daily chart has formed a double inside day. The direction of the future trend would be decided by the breakout on the either side of the range of these inside days. On the hourly chart, Nifty gave a close above 20HSMA, which is a good sign for the bulls, whereas the negative weekly close is a sign of concern. The momentum indicator KST is quite oversold, but still negative on the daily chart. On the other hand, KST is positive making higher highs on the hourly chart. So this is a very uncertain situation and one should look for a decisive breakout for a further move. Market breadth was positive with 847 advances and 367 declines. Our short- and mid-term bias is still up for the target of 4,300 and 4,500 respectively with the short- and midterm reversal at 3,850 and 3,780 respectively.
